Hi I've been using my cnc for several months but today the spindle stopped turning mid way through a job.
It uses a HY02D223B to drive the 2.2kw water cooled spindle. The vfd now reads:
E.Lu.S
I believe this is a power issue. Is this an easy fix or is it faulty?

Ane had this error several days yesterday, and the reference to how solving it was quite rare, but simple bgt it .. so ane try to share here and mudah2an useful.

The definition of error/fault according to the manual of his book:
E: fault
Lu: low voltage
S: at stopping

How to solve it:
Step 1: setting parameters to factory default by way of,
Pd013 = 08

Step 2:
Set value pd200 = 65535
And
Set value to pd209 = 50

That's it !!Elus error solved!

In the manual book no description for the parameter, krn function pd184-pd250 reserved.

According to ane klo of its value, such as the maximum value of counting / counter 256 bit tp its function for what so, anyone know?

It's never a good idea to change the factory codes, when a VFD like this has already been running for some time, there was something that caused this to happen, and needs to be solved before any factor codes are changed

I have all of these codes, but would never post them as most would get in to a lot of trouble doing this, If the VFD had never run before then I would look at these changes

I have replaced my vfd and this was repaired. I've not wired it to anything but the mains and it comes up with error.

I can't find what it is. Any ideas?

Only the power cable is connected. When I turn it on If i remember rightly it displays 3 different codes. This being the last one.

How do you have it wired R S T and Ground connected

EOH5 is over heating so something has happened to the fan or the temperature sensor

Hi mate,

This was my original vfd. Not the new one you helped setup. This was being repaired. I've just got it back and turned it on. It's not hooked up to my spindle. It was going to be an emergency back up if fixed.

I can understand these cheap Chinese units giving problems. I opened up the 2.2 Kw unit i bought recently, the firmware is dodgy, the electronics although good quality is very basic in design/protection.

They are still learning the lessons the main manufacturers/designers learnt long ago

Your wiring looks fine, when you program this VFD Drive does the Parameters start with a PD then the number

Looking at the faults you have there is something wrong with the input power module your repair guy must of not tested it to see it worked after he repaired it

What I meant was I can tell what you have by what the Parameter letters are, if it is a genuine HY VFD or not, if yours Parameters start with PD---- if they start with PD then you have the real HY there are many copies that look just the same as the HY but are not, that is why I asked if your Parameters started with PD-----
