    Question Setting up Nema 34 stepper motors

    How do I choose the right amperage setting on the dip switches? Right now they are set at7.8 amp. Dip switches 1234 are off 5678 are on set to 400 steps/rev.

    Sorry for the slow response,ready to give up on project. I am using wantai DQ860ma drivers. Longs motors said they were the right ones. See as the Masso don't have a 5volt output I'll need another 5volt power supply right?

    It looks like the Masso provides 5V for the step & direction outputs.

    Just set the DIP switches for the amp rating on your motors.
