Well, for some reason my computer is acting very strange this evening, and it won't let me log into the chat nor communicate very well at all.
I waited a bit for someone to show up, Scrambled was the only one I saw, and I couldn't even talk to him. LOL, that's my luck.

Don't feel so bad, my DSL is down. I tried to do the chat over my cell phone and it did not work. I have some new pictures, but I can not upload them until the DSL is up and working again.

Don't feel bad ... we had T-Storms come thru here and knocked us out 6
times in the first hour... I'm sitting down here resetting the routers/servers
    over and over again

And the ups took a **** as well. :drowning:

It's not been a good night.

    Anyways, maybe next week.

Maybe we should see if we can find something else for chat?

    Fast update:
My son lost about 6 "BIG" pine trees in that storm... one landed on his house
with only Minor damage to the house.
But we lost one of our transmitter towers! any body want a 100 foot of twisted
    steel tube? (VERY TWISTED tube!)
Still trying to get some sleep 'soon', I'm to old for these 35 to 40 hour days.

Angry Sorry Guys but I give up

I give up on the zone. I am so tired of having the message come up that the server has timed out. I set my settings for 120 seconds and still get the boot.
I can go to any other site all day or night and never have this problem. When and if Mister Paul decides to do something about this problem, I guess I will not be on the zone. I have checked my set up and all connections and my supplier has checked everything and said it is that site. So until something changes, I will see you later. You can let me know if anything changes.

    Thanks

    GG

Well it was just GG and me for about a good half hour -- then I was off fixing an ISP
problem that came up... PLUS watching the latest T-Storms rolling into our area
    "AGAIN!!!"

Think the storms they are having in TX washed him (Massa) away.

I couldn't log onto the Zone at all yesterday, it kept giving me a message about cookies or something. Nothing I did seemed to help.
So, after banging my head into the screen for a few minutes, I gave up.

From what I'm reading here... It sounds like 'either' management 'did' an update
that went sour or it "NEEDS" update(s) to fix the problems that everyone is
    currently having.
Either way -- it's still a maintenance type of problem that we have no control
over. All we can do is sit and wait for it to be fixed.

    huh?
the only weather we are discussing is the weather that is keeping us offline.
The chat room is where the plasma discussion takes place.

    plasma chat on the 7th

I would be interested. We are running a 4 x 8 Torchmate with a 1000 hypertherm. I have enough experience to know that I can always learn more!

    Hey Mike,
We'd be glad to have you drop in ... "IF" the chatroom and CNCZone will let
    everyone log in...

We meet every Saturday night at 7 pm.... the chat button is at the top of
every page... just click it to go to the general chat room then switch to our
Plasma room in the top menu bar.

Well, I showed up about 7.10 and waited an hour. Lonely waiting by myself.

Anyways, I don't know if the updates were done or whatever was done but I did not get the boot once.:wee:

    Next week maybe!!!

I waited until about 7:20 or so, and no one had shown, then found that the computer I am on at work doesn't like the Flashchat. Maybe that explains some of the problem I had last week. Hmm.
Right after I logged off I had a problem at work I had to work on, so it was fortunate that it happened as it did.
