I am trying to find specs on 15/32-32 external threads. The Handbook was of no help. I am trying to skirt special ordering thread ring gages for $600. I can not seem to find what the pitch, major or minor is to be, and I need at least one of those numbers to calculate anything. Thank you.

15/32 diameter=0.46875"
32 tpi = .03125 Pitch
H=.0271 = Sin60 *.03125
.0271/8=.0034"
.46875" - (.0034 x 2)
so the theoretical diameter =0.4620

Thank you. Where did you get the H=.0451? I'm trying to figure out where I'm going wrong. I got .03067. Thanks again, this is driving me crazy. I appreciate the help.

I put the wrong numbers in. a little rusty with the Trig. I just draw the thread in cad to get the numbers. Here is the formula for H
H=.0271 = SIN60 * Pitch = .03125 * SIN60

Are you sure you do not have 12mm x.8 threads, pitch and diameter are nearly identical.

We are tooling up to run a new job. That is the designation on the print. I have ordered nuts, but would like a little tighter baseline, like a pitch to go by. I think my pitch is .4473/.4437. They have not set it up yet. I am trying to get gages together and wanted to make sure I had another option other than $600 gages with a 6 to 8 week lead time.
