I bought a used DIY router table and finally got it working but when i move the y axis it is twisting when i run fast.
i have 2 motors one is y the other side is set up as a. what can i do to make the bridge not twist.

Go slower.
It sounds like one axis is losing position. That usually happens when you go faster than the motors are capable of.

Do you have two motors and screws on the Y axis? (If this is the longest axis of the machine, which is typically used to move the gantry, it should be called X). If so, they should be on two separate drivers slaved together. If one is set up as an A axis, then it's not surprising they're out of sync - the surprising thing is that this works at all, since only one motor is working and dragging the other.
If I'm misunderstanding and the axis moving the gantry is driven by a single motor with a screw in the middle, then this is a well-known phenomenon, known as the "stuck drawer" effect. You could rebuild the machine to have dual screws and drivers, or, as Ger suggests, slow it down so it doesn't happen. You can do that by limiting the maximum velocity in your CNC control program.
