    Post question on 4axis 4jaw chuck

    Ok got a question for people. I need to get a 4 axis jaw chuck. I talk to one company who says I can replace the 4th axis I have now that has the 3 jaws with a 4 jaw chuck. another person says no. so asking for advice and opinon. I am kind of raw with this kind of stuff. thanks much appreciate the input and opinion.

    I'm a little confused here, but if I understand correctly you have a 4th axis with a 3 jaw chuck, and you need to install a 4 jaw chuck on that 4th axis. I can't see a reason why you couldn't do that. Take off the 3 jaw, and install a 4 jaw. Might require a little machining to adapt it.

    thanks i was told by one person it would not work. that is why the conflict. this was a manufacture tech. another said it would work. thanks that really help. I hope you have a great day
