im running a kongsberg xn, using bits from cut guru, and i have a job which requires cutting 4 in coasters from a sheet of birchwood. the feed rate and chip load that they supply dont seem accurate when it comes to cutting wood and im hoping someone here has more experience (i only have 2 years experience routing) either on a kongsberg or with cut guru bits that can give some advice. the wood is 5.6 mm thick and im going to be using either the w2-625d or the w2-418d. so far im cutting in two layers and running around 40,000 rpm with a chip load ranging from 200 - 400. any advice on chip loads, feed rates and rpm would be greatly appreciated.
