CS-M vs ES-M - what is the difference

Newbie trying to understand this stuff. What is the difference between the CS-M closed loop steppers and ES-M easy servo motors?

The CS series accept <100vac and <80vdc and the ES series are either 120 or 240vac drives. Some of them, ad I haven't looked at all the models, are 3 phase motors, so they would have 1.2* step angle and more torque.

Thank you for the reply. In what situations would one be preferred over the other? Would the CS be more appropriate for a smaller, light duty, router for instance?
