    multi-matic bar feeder issues

    I have an Australian made Multi-Matic bar feeder feeding barstock to a Hitachi Seiki CNC lathe.
    The issue is the bar feeder keeps shutting down after several minutes.
    Fiddle with the pressure dial & flow dial & you may get it to run a few minutes longer, or shorter, but still shuts down.
    It's progressively been getting worse over the years.
    Used to run for a few hours, now I’m lucky to get 10 minutes.
    After it shuts down if you hit the stop button, then start button & it fires up again & starts feeding.
    Plenty of oil in the tank.
    Any advice would be much appreciated of where to look for a fault.

    Oil filter plugging up maybe?

    Checked the filter, really clean & OK.
