Setting up 4th axis on VF-3

    Hi guys.
I'm trying to set up an HT210 on a VF-3. I can get it hooked up and moving but I get an error something like "distance to go".
I've found a few responses that say subtract .118 from the number ....but how do you subtract from the degree?

As a second question, is the HT 210 a full 4th axis or a rotary table? In my case it doesnt really matter as I'm drilling holes in tubing but it would be nice to do it automatically.

    Again thanks for your responses.

Should be a HRT210? Also if it has a P# after the model that will make a difference with setting 30 on some Haas machines. Can you tell me the alarm number? Is it a grid offset alarm?

I'm sure it would be a HRT210. In the settings you need to specify the radius or diameter of the part. Maybe that will help.

I got the HT210 off the website dimensions so I'm pretty sure its a 210.

Do you use the part diameter or the table diameter? I set it up as 8.5 inches but the website says 8.27.

    Thanks for the replies.

That setting for "rotary diameter" primarily determines the rotary feed if you state inch-per-minute feedrates. It's applicable if the diameter of your round workpiece remains mostly constant, but if you have changing diameters then you'd need to calculate some differences.

Do you see an alarm message? If so what's the alarm description?
