    vmc1000ii 4th axis question

    Does anyone know how to turn on the 4th axis on a hardinge vmc1000 ii. Fanuc control. What parameters?

    Here are the parameters for the early Hardinge VMC 1000 with the Fanuc O controls. The parameters will be different for the 18, 21, 0i etc controls. I should have a list for those too.

    To Enable 4th Axis:

    Param # 907.2 = 0 (only if Param # 913.5 = 1 / see note )
    Param # 907.3 = 1
    Param # 914.7 = 1
    Param # 19.1 = 1
    Param # 35.3 = 0
    Param # 398.1 = 1
    Param # 398.2 = 0
    Param # 398.3 = 1
    Param # 507 = 5000
    Param # 569 = 360
    Param # 573 = 20000
    Param # 860 = 360000
    Diag. # 301.4 = 1

    **** Note: # 913.5 sets 4 axis simultaneous option to “on” ****
