    Madcam Ballnose depth

Hi Guys, I am new to madcam so please be patient with me. I am having an issue with the depth of the ballnose. I have set madcam to calculate from the tip of the ballnose but had it cut into the table the depth of the radius. Also when I do pocketing after the roughing it seems to be an odd 4.8mm above the job? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using a 3 axis cnc Router

    Cheers

    Re: Madcam Ballnose depth

What kind of machine / controller are you using? Any chance the machine is trying to do some sort of radius compensation that MadCam is already handling?
