i have a morn 1490-d i moved from California to port orchard Washington and i cant get it to fire. it boots and everything, but i am not an expert and i can not get the tubes to fire at all. i hear a pop sound but no beam out of the back.

I know how to use it just not how to repair it.
I would if i could. The company i bought it from Morntechusa Do not answer phones. I have not been able to get a response from them since the delivered it .

Do you think i could replace it with a 40w tube to test it before i buy a new 120w tube?

You can't get the dual tubes to fire at all, or just one?
How long do you buy the machine? What program it use?
You need to check water chiller, power supply, laser tube, wiring and controller..one bye one,
find the issue and solve it.

I can see some micro cracks in the back end of both tubes. Tube one when i pulse it burns the inner chamber. I cant seem to get tube to pulse at all.
Bought it in 2014
Uses corel
Chillers work. The psu are putting out the right voltage. wiring looks good. The builder Hot glued all the plugs before it was shipped.
Ill take photos to show the tubes and the rest just so you guys can see if there is something glaring i am missing.

Tubes are broken easily..try to change one first. Is there any local tech person will come to help you?

I cant find anyone local at all. I even reached out to the fablab for help. They dont have a outside tech.
