    Dyna 2200/2400 Program to Computer

I have a Dyna 2200 mill that I have a program in the controller. I also have a laptop with the serial cable connected to the mill. I have not had any luck getting the program to download to the laptop (I even have software for the machine on the computer). Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong? I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't figure it out. Thanks.

Assuming you have figured out how to make the controller actually spit out the program, the only thing i can figure out that you might be doing wrong, is you need a "null-modem" cable for transfer. A straight-through serial cable won't work.

A null-modem cable crosses the "Transmit Data" line, with the "Recieve Data" line, and crosses the "Request To Send" with "Clear To Send"

You can buy null-modem cables or adapters, or you can make one. (google it)

Once you get that squared away, the communication parameters should be set as follows:
    2400baud
    Parity: none
    Data Bits: 8
    Stop Bits: 1
