Hi to all you Guys !!!
I am newbie in forum and the extreme world of CNC machining!!
I buy few months ago Bridgeport JB milling machine and I would like to convert to CNC .
I have install mach 3 with your help (looks awesome).
My problem is i can't find measurements and size for the Y-axis bearing bracket to design my own bracket for bearing and motor .
i need the dimension from the original y axis bearing bracket !!
I would like to build the X and Y axis on my bridgeport manual with hands and DRO before disassembly the machine to install ball screws and motors etc..
and something else
I buy Chinese motors NEMA 34 1700oz enough torque to connected straight to the ball screws..
What is your advice connected 1:1 OR buy timing belts and pulleys and connected 2:1
Thank you in advance .
ps : sorry for my English ... thanks anyway
