Would that be a good combination for a CNC router?

If so, which motor is better and why? I see there there are some size differences but not sure what specs really mean anything to worry about.

If you plan to use this spindle for woodworking then the 213mm would be just fine, although both the spindle have identical specs.

I would expect the spindle quality to be a little better than Ratt Motor, based on the Ratt Motor spindles I have. But you never really know until you get it.


The difference in the two spindles you linked two is that the second one is waterproof for applications where coolant will be spraying on or near it.

Has anybody on this forum actually used the kit Ger21 is suggesting?

It's the same VFD, but right from the manufacturer. It appears they make the spindle as well.

It's a GDZ spindle just with there logo on it many of these spindles come from the same manufacture just with different supplier names on them

They are the same spindles most members here have been using for close to 10 years. They'll be fine.

I just realized this is only a 5 Amp motor.
Voltage and rated current: AC 220V, 5A

The other 2 motors I mentioned are rated at 8 amps.

Any thoughts on that?

This one here is Ok if you want more torque and lower RPM they are rated at 3000RPM to 24,000RPM 10 Amps the quality is not to bad as well
