1) T640eye.exe occurs in case of data corruption or corruption in software.
2) "i changed battery to." ==> Which battery did you change, the battery on MR-J2-CT drive?
3) Are you able to open the MR-J2 software. If yes, are you able to view the configured axes?

There might be two issues

1) SRAM corruption : check the 7 seg led status on NC unit. if Its 9 or - without WDER led lit, then SRAM seems to be ok.

2) Windows corruption: In this case, you need to re-install fresh WINDOWS image using a ghost software after taking all necessary backups

Hi, I'm having the same problem with error occurred between NC and personal computer on the Mazak integrex 300 640T control

my showing led status NC unit it's a 9, what is the mean?

Some post mention the solution is to uninstall Mazak software and run install NCbackup/disk1. If so do I need to back up all the files and parameters?

Status 9 means NC is healthy. Also please check if watchdog error led is lit or not.

There is a possibility that the same might occur due to corruption of Mazak software. You can try uninstalling the same and and then reinstall from disk1. Its always safe to take the backup before doing any software modifications.

I've been trying to figure out how to save the backup to pc card but have no luck...I'm scratching my head and this is really frustrating.

Please help..any advice is greatly appreciated.

For saving the data to CF card you need to have an IC card slot on the front, right side of display screen. This is basically an optional feature with 640T, so please confirm the slot is available.

Else you may save the data to hard disk.

Were you able to solve the issue you had while back? What did you do?

Since your NC unit status is 9, NC is ok. I hope there is no WDER LED on.
Next option to check is as you mentioned. Try uninstalling and re-installying Mazatrol software.
Third option, would be to copy the MR-J2Ct software (j2ctbus folder) from a healthy machine hard disk to the problematic machine hard disk. Once copied you have to change the prm files in the folder with the actual prm files of your machine.
Fourth possibility is corruption of Windows. In this case you would require to load a fresh image which is normally available with Mitsubishi technicians. If you have a similar machine with the same NC hardware model, then you may copy the image using any image copy software (Ghost 3.2, norton etc) and load to the problematic machine.

In all the cases please make sure all the program and parameters are backed up. For the last point you would need to first take the existing image backup

The machine does have an IC card slot, but when I insert the PC card in it doesn't show up on my computer...

The front IC card will not show on "My Computer". It can be accessed/modified only through Mazatrol.

The back IC card (another optional feature) will show as a new drive in "My Computer"

I found out one of the MRJ drives is bad, showing solid number 88. What is it mean? and how do I fix it? Do the batteries need to replace? @ MR-J2-200CT

WATCHDOG error on MR-J2. It may be due to corruption of data or the control card is faulty
