It might. Depends on the scrapyard and how much they pay attention to it. I thought the idea of those machines was to extract as much coolant as possible from the chips. Cleaner chips should yield a higher value. I just wonder if the difference would pay for the machine....
I don't know much about anything but I know a little about everything....
Most of the bigger places I have dealt with pay 50-60% more for solids...that would include pucks. So the payoff is with higher amounts of chips. Puck machines are expensive new, so a company going out of business...sale flyer..etc is the way to go.
