Power goes to L1 - N, in this case 24V AC or DC, in the case of DC L1 is +. A1 and A2 is the input power to the unit. B1 is the start timing signal, also connected to L1 through a switch. 15 is Common, 16 is NC, 18 is NO

Thank you Jim!
Jim, on this Wieland unit, there are 4 dials, a pair each for delay on and delay off I would guess.
I'm planning on using this as a delay off to control a 220v fan, letting it run for 5 minutes after the spindle is shut down.
Do you know which set I would use? One dial is timing and the other is graduated from .1 to 1. What is that used for??
You also mentioned that B1 was the start timing signal. Could that be an output signal from the VFD?

I'm not sure which is OFF delay and which is ON delay. Just play with it a bit and you'll be able to see how it all works. I think the 10ths dials are a percentage of the base setting, so if you set for 1 second and 0.1 it would time for 0.1 second. Same for minute and so on.
You should be able to use the relay in the VFD to trigger the timer any way you want.

The two dials are for fine and coarse time settings.
For instance, if you want a 60-second delay, you set the first dial to "100s" and the second dial to "0.6". 100*0.6=60 seconds.
In case anyone ever stumbles upon this thread, here is what I did to get this relay timer integrated into my control cabinet.
As Jim stated above:
A1 - +24v DC
A2 - -24V DC
B1 - signal from VFD (+24v DC)
15 - Common (240v AC)
18 - To spindle fan
Top set of dials is for 'on delay' and the bottom set for 'off delay'. And as Jim and CitizenOfDreams indicated they are course and fine setting.
Thanks for your help gentlemen!
My pleasure to help out
