hi guys,
I got a fanuc Robodrill with 16M control which has a few problems, my main concern is the batteries for the axis ref positions keep going flat, a new set lasts 3 weeks then I get the alarms and do the procedure for setting the refs again,
what can be draining them so fast?

Conductive dirt/dust/residue/corrosion on the circuit board? A leaking capacitor? Next time you change the battery, try measuring the resistance across the battery socket.

There are more reasons than a dead battery as to why you have lost the zero position. Next time you get the alarm check the diagnostic bits to determine exactly why you lost zero.

I dont have parameter 310, it goes from 301 straight to 1001, is there an alternative to this sheet to cover my age of machine?

it was a bad X encoder that was taking the juice,
