    G93 Time Resolution

I am trying to use the G93 feed rate specification for rotary machining. I do have tool paths cosisting of very short strokes, sometimes less than a millimeter.
At typical feed rates that will result in execution times of under 10 ms per stroke and F-Word numbers >6000.

Is that a problem (using an MK2 board)? What are the limits of time resolution, anyway?

    Thanks, JB

    Re: G93 Time Resolution

We tested this with Mk2 and Mk3 controller.

Unfortunately Mk2 controller cannot perform fluently in G93 mode. Its processor does not support the firmware updates (advanced motion algorithms).

Mk3 controller performs this much better, specially with latest PlanetCNC TNG software.
