    SprutCAM 2007

Hi all, I have been testing out the new SprutCAM 2007 and I'm very impressed with what they've done.
The new lathe ops are very slick, and the ability to use it with milling too is excellent.

Here's a couple of screen grabs:

    1: Turned part
    2: Turned and milled part

    Anyone else trying it out?

I may get to it this weekend if enough progress can be made on some manual programming jobs.

Those pics look impressive! Too bad my machined parts don't usually look as shiny <g>.

Where can I download SC2007? I am just about at my wits end with SC4v1.30.

I am trying to learn how to use v1.30. The problem with it is either I don't understand something or the manuals and tutorials (yours and Sprut's) don't match the software.

There is a major version change soon and I will try and find the time to revise and add to the tutorials when this is released.
I have now removed them from my website, thanks for highlighting the problem.

If you have any questions, just ask them on the user forum.
I answered your previous one: http://forums.sprutcam.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=202, did this help?
You can also contact your SprutCAM reseller for technical support.

    Dave,

Thanks for your response on both forums. I couldn't access the Sprut forum until this morning so I missed your reply. I think you should leave your tutorials up on your site. They are a good resource. Just put a disclaimer at the top of the page that they may not match all released versions of SC. The tutorials and manuals bundled with SC really need to be fixed.

    Dave,

If you purchased the current version, will there be a charge for version 2007?

Hi David, there is a charge to upgrade when there is a major version change. You should contact your SprutCAM reseller for pricing.
