I am considering buying 4 of these motors

and 4 of these drives

I am not great at all the electronic lingo. Very mechanical with some electronics knowledge. What I am looking for is your opinion on the compatibility
of these motors and drives.
I will be controlling them with GRBL on Arduino.

I'd get drives that can handle higher voltage.

Got a suggestion for that? Automation technology supplies that PS in a kit with these drives and motors. The PS is 48V 12.5A. What is more important the PS voltage or the amperage?
What does the higher voltage do for you?
Ya I know you are taking about the drives but I thought it best if I added the PS as well.

The higher the voltage, the more torque you'll have at higher speeds, which will result in a higher top speed. The downside is that the motor will run hotter. But drives with idle current reduction can reduce some of that heat.

The current rating should be the total of at least 2/3 of the rated torque of each motor. Three 6 amp motors would need a 12 amp supply. Having more amps doesn't make any difference.

You'll need a drive like the KL-8060E or Leadshine DM860 or EM705.
