does anyone know the beep codes for a lmb-680p on a vmx-30 ? I get one beep on / off repeating with no boot . It happened after pulling ram to get part numbers , checked everything for loose connections .

a web search did not find the beep codes for the lmb-680p motherboard but this list may help

since you have the fault after removing the memory
its possible with an old system that your missing some of the connections to the RAM due to motherboard connector not making contact to dirty / oxidised patches on the RAM module terminals

try re-seating the RAM several times - using electrical contact cleaner will help (not WD40 that you would use on your car !!!)
