Gentlemen:

BC30 is producing code that my Haas TM1 objects to and I am unable to sort it out. The error is something like: "Error in J, K, I in G02 or G03". The fault comes up on line N12 of the attached post.

In a related matter, I would like to begin the tool path from the opposite side of the part and progress in the opposite direction, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to convince it to do so.

I think it has to do with your ucs being in the wrong spot. I had an error like that, and a ucs was created way off the table.

j,k,i errors happen once in a while.Depending on what you are programming there are different ways to solve it.
Simplest way is to un-check arc fit
Produces more code,but your machine can handle it

Planar tool path direction is controlled by what you pick as the degrees of your "Lace Angle"

Having a .bbcd file of what your exactly doing will help lots more on both your questions

How does one attach a .bbcd file? The system rejected it as an invalid file.

To attach files, "Zip" them. Right click and send to-compressed archive.

in your post, you can review lines 221, 222 and 223.... Maybe your controller wants to break arcs down a bit more.
Line 446 makes them modal. Maybe it wants to see a value on every line.

If 550 is anything other than no, then lines 319 and 320 need to be addressed.

I did get it to play nice by disabling the "arc fit".

as far as starting point and direction ?

it will be with "Lace Angle"

also a combination of where you are at in the UCS

try the uploading feature of a compressed file,,,will help a lot
