    Laser Pulse control

Installed a 15 watt laser on my engraver. Laser works fine in stand-alone mode but cannot control pulse on\off with my controller. I assume the TTL plug-in is what
controls the pulse? Using a Keyestudio rev 0.9 with GRBL. Any help greatly appreciated!

Really not enough information to go on to give an answer.

This is how I have it hooked up. Shouldn't the input marked laser control, control the laser pulse?

Have you configured grbl to enable laser?

You’re welcome. It’s always gratifying to see people making the effort and not just sitting back and wanting to be spoon-fed.

Thats how I learned. It has paid off, handsomely.

And FYI, the most powerful diode laser made is ~6.5W, so you were ripped off with your ‘15W’ unit. It’s an over-volted 6W unit. You’ll be lucky if it lasts 200 hours.

Here, as I’m feeling generous: https://github.com/gnea/grbl/wiki/Grbl-v1.1-Laser-Mode

Just as a pro tip, I typed ‘grbl laser’ into google and it was the first entry that presented itself.

Have done my research I know that $32=1 turns laser mode on and 0 turns it off. Have PWM connected to TTL output, but laser still does not turn on and off as it should, could I possibly have a defective controller for the laser?
