I recently purchased a 60watt laser and just trying to get my first project engraved and cut, I need to engrave a 1/4 grid similar to a ruler, but if I select the grid lines and set the color to engrave nothing ends up on the machine when I select download.

If I set it to cut with a power level of 2, I get a crappy result, (see attached) any advice would be appreciated
