    New Model Relief Loading Problem

When loading an existing relief to New Model, my project relief information gets switched around. On the original model the Max. Z is 1" and the Min. Z is 0". The new model relief information reads the opposite way.
Even the Shape Editor image reversed. The original 3d image has the vector areas raised above the base panel, but on the New Model the 3d image has the vector areas recessed into the base panel.
I tried inverting the Z parameters on the new model, but the wrong areas were getting hogged out. What did I inadvertently change to cause the problem?

I've had this happen from time to time. I can't say why it happens, never figured it out. A way around maybe to invert the Z on the "relief" your pulling into the "new model". Then when it pulls it in, it will be backwards to the original. But how you want it. Just an idea.

    Good luck,

I m not sure i can help or not.

Try this at the existing relief : (1)delete material
    (2) set Z to zero.
    (3) save the file.
    (4) import again to new model.

    Hope this help!

    Best Regards
