I am recieving an 086 alarm. 086 alarm is when entering data in the memory by using Reader/Puncher interface, the ready signal (DR) of reader/puncher was turned off.
I have reset both my computer and my cnc but the alarm is still present after reboot. The alarm occurs when I try to input data from my computer to the machine.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

086 is either the cable or recieving device is faulty, I would use a 3 wire cable with the hardware handshake jumpered out each end.
