RFQ - Aluminum Parts - small job

I need a total of 6 pieces using 6061-T6. The flat pieces are 1/4" thick. The rings are 35mm thick. They will have 80mm OD bearings inserted so the bore must be a fairly high tolerance (not press fit but snug). I have never worked with DXF files before, so please let me know if there is additional data needed. You supply the stock.

    Thanks in advance.

The parts were designed using eMachineShop. I can only export the DXF format I posted. What dimensions do you need? Hole sizes, distance between holes, etc?

I have attached files with the dimensions drawn in. The distance between the four center mounting holes is not extremely critical; just as long as the holes in all the pieces line up.

    Hi,

I'm guessing the quote from emachineshop was high. You could try http://www.bigbluesaw.com, they're cheaper for plate work.

Also the rings do they really need to be 35mm thick or could you have two thinner rings with spacers or multiple rings stacked?

Astronomically high. The thick ring could be a stack of eleven 1/8" rings.

I would split it up the rings and then submit it to bbs, let us know if it makes a difference, for instance I just had 3 plates done .25" in 6060, 2 6"x3" and 1 2"x7" all with various holes and rounded corners, came out about 25 bucks per plate.

Multiple parts of thinner material should be cheaper.
