Y Axis Ballscrew for the chinese 6040

Can anyone point me into a direction to buy a replacement ball screw for the chinese 6040. I just bought one and the y axis ballscrew was broken at the front of the machine by the bearing. Working with the seller but honestly I would just like to buy one to get it over with. I have a g540 and new steppers that I'm itching to get going and this is holding me up...

I went through this a while ago but I bought my Router from Carving CNC ( Now OMNI, I think ) and I just ordered one directly from them.
Other option would be to get all the specs and look on Aliexpress. I think they are pretty standard.
I assume its a 1605 ballscrew? You need to take measurements of the drive end so it matches what you have.

Would have though t it easier to get one through the original supplier, but maybe not.....we know what they are like.....

No idea. the carriage was wobbling since the day I bought it. After a quick look I thought the ball screw was bent. After a more thorough look... thats what I found.

    Damn....thats bad luck.
Time to do some testing and see if/where things are binding or going wrong.
I'd also look at a different Ball screw supplier. Maybe there is a QA issue with this batch or the whole lot!

When I had problems I found 3 or 4 issues contributing to it......not just one......
    Keep going son.

I had this same exact thing happen on mine a couple years back. It broke right at the threads and the break had slag in it. It also caused the flange bearing to go bad.
