    Wire Frame -2- Solid

    I'm Imported a *.dxf File which come up as a complex wire frame. How Do I Create solid Surfaces on it so that I can switch back and forth between wire VIEW and SOLID VIEW?

    1. What version of Mastercam ?

    2. If you press Screen Statistics, what entities are present ?

    If it is complex wireframe chances are the surface or solids are not importing in from the original cad system or the dxf converter will not bring them in. Try using a different importer, IGES out from original cad system and in to Mastercam then you shouldn't have to recreate the wheel.
