2 machines, 2 different probes, one computer Mach3. I wonder...

I only have one computer with Mach3 to use on my 2 mills. Each machine has a probe pad that has a different height. I use a different mxl file for each machine but I am unable to edit the auto tool length probe button different for each machine. Is it possible to have 2 different Hidden Files to use so I don't have to machine off one of the probe pads to match the other, or even worse, have to use math to adjust one after probing for height? (I'm a little lazy when it comes to math.) I only use one machine at a time, so only one is hooked to the computer at a time.

The button script is saved in the screen file.
You could open the screen in a screen editor, and save it with a different name.
Then create two separate profiles, each using a different screen.

I edited the button script on one profile and saved it under a different name but when I opened the other profile, the same edits were on its button. I only have the 1 mill screen that came with Mach3. I have never used a screen editor.

Because it's saved in the screen, and you're only using 1 screen.
Download Machscreen, open the screen, and Save As with a new name. THat's all you need to do.

    OK. I'll try it. Thanks.
