I am still somewhat new to my 3016 94' Fadal VMC, I have a question about subroutine. First off, I do have access to CAM software, I just want to ensure that I know all the manual stuff before I venture out to CAM. I wanted to know about Fadal subs, using LXX00 code. The manual is very vague about the "R" parameters that can be used in conjunction with the LXX00 sub routines. I am trying to determine a perimeter shape and have the machine cut away the excess material with "loop" subs. Can I use an "R" value parameter with the Lxx00 to determine the amount of step over? Does it work like the fixed subroutines for pocket milling, in which R1+xx will determine the tool radius and therefore the amount of step over?
