I have some new servo motors, Leedan I believe, and I have them tied
to new amc analog drives, I have used these same motor with amc digital drives with no problems. The amp has a test mode in which no input from the
controller card is required, and the amp has a pot that you can turn back and
forth which is supposed to be used to verify that the motor turns back and forth as well. The more you turn the pot, the faster it goes in that direction,
turn it the other way, and it slows down and reverses direction etc.
I have talked to amc tech support and they had me check hall input and that appear o.k.. They had me switch the motor leads to all six combinations and
none work properly.. About the best it does is vibrate more in one direction
than others.
Anyone have a similar problem? Any thoughts? I am really stuck!
