Upgrading a Laser engraver with a Coherent Diamond C-80A

    Hi All

I'm currently struggling with upgrading my laser engraver from a degraded Coherent Gem 30W to a Coherent Diamond C-80A

However I'm struggling to get anywhere near as much power from the new laser module (that the seller had tested to output over 50W, from a clean pull)
The original PSU used by the 30W GEM, is rated for 48V 25A, which matches the power rating on the back of the replacement laser but I'm struggling to find a datasheet to confirm if this is enough.

I've been struggling on and off for the last 8 months with this, (after getting its PC104 working again) and would really appreciate any advice, as I'm not sure what to look into next.

There is plenty of info on the web on Diamond C/Cx lasers and their MEANWELL power supplies and it looks like your existing power supply is quite adequate.
I'd be more worried if the seller said it was only outputting 50w.
We have an Diamond E-400 that is outputting almost 600w.
