Solidworks .STEP files to Autocad? How?

    Hello mates!

I have some .STEP files at home that i can open in Solidworks but in school we only use AutoCad so how can i convert these files to be used in autocad instead? Is this possible or is the only way to sit down and redraw them in Autocad?

Also i need to change the measurements on the files from Inc to metrics, can this also be done or can i just rescale the drawings in Autocad when im got them there?

I use SolidWorks 2007 Office and Autocad 2007 if that helps!

    Regars,
    Viper

Save as .sat and import to AutoCAD, then scale by 25.4.

Thanks for the help there but is there something speciall i should do when saving from Solidworks? I guess i should go to "Insert" in Autocad then "ACIS File.." but when i do this i get an error "_acisin Unable to read the ACIS file" have i done something wrong maybe?

Hope someone can help me with this little problem of mine.

You could also scale the model X 25.4 in SW.
Then make a 3 (4,5,6 whatever) view drawing (slddrw). Once done that save your slddrw as a dwg/dxf.

Try an older format of .sat. You should have a few options.
