my roommate bought new cnc machine from ebay

i have followed the manual as i set up cnc machine.
i ordered parallel pci card that had a epp mode, and put it in desktop, still not connected because i tested cnc machine, by using manual control on keyboard, it doesnt move. so i really dont understand how it work, btw i'm a complete noobie on cnc machine but of course i know lots about building computers but cnc machine is different than i thought. my roommate wanted to engrave the stamp for his leather business

Rather than deleting the thread, perhaps you could post what you found and how you fixed it in case somebody else runs into the same kind of problem?
