You should have 240v if you live in the USA not 220v

Step up Transformer 240v to 480v ( must be sized correct for the input Amperage needed ) and a 480v VFD Drive

I was starting to give up hope, with this spindle, could not find much online, this has given me some direction, I got the spindle for free, it's brand new, so it should be worth it to buy the transformer, otherwise it might be cheaper to buy a china spindle, I will find an electrician to wire it for sure

The Transformer will cost you more than a Chinese Spindle, you should sell it if you can some shops in the US will have 480v power supply so they would just need a VFD Drive

It's for my home shop, router I'm building

All the china ATC spindles are over $2000 , I have not priced a step up transformer but do you think it's more ?

Name plate says it was made in 11/2000. New to you but not new?

I missed that it had a ATC no a Transformer and VFD won't cost that much
