Duties:
Program new and challenging parts with ability to utilize or learn Autodesk Partmaker software
Reprogram / troubleshoot existing parts and programs
Interface with key customer account engineers to support part Design For Manufacture (DFM)
Write clear set up sheets with detailed tooling plans
Determine root cause and corrective actions to remove risk points and increase quality
Supervise tool room and research the best tooling available for specific part requirements
Help set up a best in class tool room
Estimate machining time for new part quotes
Estimate tooling costs for new part quotes
Experience Required & Desired:
Minimum of 2 years programming multi-axis Swiss & Mill/Turn machines for tight tolerance parts utilizing top technology software
Experience & skill programming using Autodesk Partmaker preferred but not required
Verifiable CNC Multi Axis set up, trouble-shooting & machining skills
CNC Swiss Machining experience would be ideal but not required
Speed and Feed knowledge on materials including difficult to machine materials such as titanium, Inconel, 17-4, 316 etc.
2 years or more experience supporting and training other programmers/machinists
Post editing experience would be excellent but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
