    computation for surface finish in milling

    Hi guys,

    I'm new here in the forums. I just wanted to ask if there is a computation to predict a surface finish depending on the mrr and nose radius in milling? I had some articles from the web about RA computation but it's only applicable for turning.

    Check Machinist Handbook they have all kind formula for all type of mahinces.
    The best way to learn is trial error.
