    Hi bsczepanshi,

After Flashing New Version did you cycle power on KFLOP?

Why are you running PC Software even older than the Version of Firmware in KFLOP?

Please use our latest code KMotion435b.

I just trying to help the machinist out....so should install the latest KMotion435b.....

To cycle power, do you just shut off the K2CN2 machine and turn back on..... Thank you so much for replying.

    Hi bsczepanshi,

K2CNC normally Flashed User Programs into KFLOP. If you Flash New Version those User Programs will be lost and will need to be re-Flashed into KFLOP. Unfortunately K2CNC often did not leave notes on what needs to be Flashed into KFLOP so a lot of reverse engineering and detective work can be required to figure things out if possible at all.

You might read this CNCZone Thread.

Whatever is required to turn off power to KFLOP.

You can. But it will probably not work with the machine until you determine all the User programs that I explained in my previous post. Make sure you keep a backup of the W7 computer.

Ok, installed 435b and have no errors but can't find the "home" button and the tool doesn't move....runs through the program like its
working but the tool doesn't move. Do you do technical support for a fee? We are willing to pay.

    Hi bsczepanshi,

We can connect to your system using TightVNC and try to reconstruct it if K2CNC left the appropriate files on the computer and in a manner we can figure out. There aren't any guarantees for success. For this we charge $250/hr with a 2hr minimum. Email support if you are interested. Is there some K2CNC directory on the computer with C Programs in it? Was the system working before doing the upgrade?

    Re: OUT OF DATE STAMP

Not exactly, an operator went into task manager and did an end process and it never worked after that. It is the only program on that
computer but I think when I upgraded to 431 b then 431 C and now 435b all those folders are there and not sure what data
file to copy over, etc so just as soon pay someone who knows what to keep etc. So email support from site support?

    Hi bsczepanshi,

Strange. Ending a process shouldn't have caused a problem after the App was restarted.

Hopefully there are some K2CNC files somewhere. Are there any backups of soon after the machine was installed? Any wiring diagrams? Does it have Servos or Steppers?

Yes contact the email on our support page.
