I have a G0704 that I converted using Hoss's plans and one point suggestions on stepper/driver setup. I'm in the process of taking the electronics that I had for the mill and running them on a G0602. I have a few issues though. I may have damaged my C11 but I have not been able to validate that. The electronics were working with the G0704, but I inappropriately hooked up a C6 pulse card to the C11. Magic smoke was released from the C6 but nothing on the C11. I shut everything down and haven't bothered the project for about a year. At one point, since the last time the controller has been used successfully, I cleaned the computers drive and reinstalled Mach3. I essentially have a mess on my hands and just want to get this thing going. I think I have Mach3 communicating correctly with the ESS. I am getting no LED's on the C11 pin ports, but everything else looks lit and correct. I have 1V on ports 2-7 and 5V on the COM ports. I get no changes in voltage when I jog with the keyboard. The DRO incriments when I jog, and Andy at Warp9 says that means the ESS and the computer are talking. I'm about to wire in the C10 to see if it's the BOB but thought I would ask here first....maybe someone has some suggestions?


Also, I can move the ball screw by hand.....so there's that too.

You can move the ballscrew by hand, stepper attached and powered up? That shouldnt be the case.
