ISO 30 conversion for round and dovetail column RF clones.

Hi, I've searched for years to find an ISO30 conversion for my round column, I found a chinese supplier on the web who has a bridgeport conversion.
Round and dovetail RF clones i believe are the same shaft inside the quill, bridgeport is very close, the spline and bearing diameters are the same, only the lengths are different.
Can it be done? Some basic lathe work, yes?
