Newbie Question MasterCAM Mill for Router

    Hi everybody,
I was just wondering if it is possible to use MasterCAM Mill for Routering?? Instead of Routering. Just wondering. Would you have to load up the tool library for it?
    Thanks. :rainfro:

I don't know the difference but I do know that Mill works fine on a router.

you can use the mill module to run your router no problem. but the router package from Mastercam has router specific functions such as support for multiple heads, engraving, nesting, aggragate tooling,
tab functions for knockout patterns, tool libraries set up for router tools instead of standard milling tools. it also has router specific posts but that should be no problem as your dealer should be able to help with post issues. HTH, phil
