    4th axis following error target?

Hi Guys, long time no talk. I'm adding a shop-made 4th axis to my Partner VII and have a question about tuning the following error. I'm using a Glentek GA370-3 amplifier and an SEM MT30U4-42 servo motor. I know how to tune the linear axes to 0.050" error at 100 IPM but the document I have does not mention what following error to target for the 4th. Does anyone know, or is 4th axis following error not a thing? I've never run a 4th if you can't tell.
    Thanks!
