A friend has a mill that came with a cnc conversion, but some of it is missing and I am helping to get it going again.
The enclosure for the controller says CNC Masters, and the card inside are by J&S Products Irvine CA
Looks like a parallel interface card with a PIC 16C74A to a ribbon cable to three other cards and a power supply.
Interface has P/N 521B
Stepper card P/N 522 ? (controller currently at the office)

If anyone has any info on this controller or the software used to control it, please let me know

Is anyone using a machine with a CNC Masters controller, that uses a parallel port?
I would like to get a copy of the software, so I can convert this over to a newer software like Mach 3.
I found that the main interface card has a PIC micro controller that uses a PSP (parallel slave port) to talk to the PC.
So it isn't the standard this pin is the direction and this one is the step.
I might have to program a new chip to be able to make it work with the newer software.
