I'm learning to use Deskproto, which compared to my other CAM software creates many short G01 moves and so files are much bigger.
The attached file causes TNG2 to freeze if I load it and then try to use the Program > Edit function.
I suppose I might not be waiting long enough, but when compared to how quickly the same file loads into TNG, then it seems something may not be quite right.

It does not freeze. It just takes very long time.
G-Code editor was not designed for large g-codes. Syntax highlighting is slow.

Could it be speeded in the future?

Now fixed in latest update. Files open in the editor instantly!
