Chinese laser is firing anytime the head moves. "Help"

I have a 40 Watt Chinese laser with a RDC6442S Controller. My laser is firing whenever the head moves. If you run frame the laser engraves from the origin and around the full outline frame even though the output for that layer is set to NO. Is the board shot? any help would be appreciated.

Suggested approach to isolating where the problem is:

    1. Power off the machine and unplug from the wall outlet
    2. Inspect the high voltage laser power supply, reseat the electronics cable while seeing if there are loose wires or a visible short
    3. Plug in, power on, test

If problem is not solved then:
    1. Get your multimeter and set to DC voltage for measurement
    2. Unplug the electronics input cable from the high voltage power supply
    3. Run the laser machine's job that was firing the laser all the time (like the bounding box example that you provided)
    4. Measure the control signals to determine if the controller is telling the high voltage laser power supply to fire the laser all the time (it should not be)

If the laser controller is telling the high voltage laser power supply to fire the laser when it is not supposed to, then the problem is related to the controller.

If not, then the problem is with the high voltage power supply.
