Is anyone familiar with PDJ cnc and if so, how do they compare to AVID cnc aka cnc router parts?

Following... I too am looking at both Avid and PDJ for tooling foam board machining and carbon fiber trimming / cutting.
We have decided to not purchase any tooling from PDJ for several reasons.
1. On the phone call I spoke with Phil. Several of the answers to my technical questions were "this machine just makes you money".
2. Poor and no response to questions via email
3. other review on cnczone claims 5 month lead time but was promised 8 week lead time. https://www.cnczone.com/forums/comme...88794-cam.html
4. many happy customers purchasing an Avid machine. This seems to be the way to go.

Hi All,
*Please allow me to respond-
1. On the phone call I spoke with Phil. Several of the answers to my technical questions were "this machine just makes you money".
*This was not my reply to anyone's phone questions. I am sorry for any mistreatment you may have experienced.
2. Poor and no response to questions via email
*We have all the emails and our responses for any ones review.
3. other review on cnczone claims 5 month lead time but was promised 8 week lead time.
*Again, I apologize - this was an extreme case when we did not get 8020 deliveries.
4. many happy customers purchasing an Avid machine. This seems to be the way to go.
*We are happy for all CNCers! CNCs are great machines and ours are the best.
